No business pays for coverage or placement on The Ynez, our own guide to the Santa Ynez Valley. Some links are paid affiliate links, labeled where they appear and listed on our disclosure page. Below are the rules every page follows.
First-party sources
We take every name, address, hour, price and date from the business's own website or an official source first. We don't copy customer reviews or review-site photos.
We verify facts
We check each fact against its source before it goes up, and every page shows the date it was last checked. More on how we verify.
No one pays to change rankings
We are never paid to add a place, move it up or change what we say about it.
Paid placements are always labeled
Any affiliate link or paid placement is labeled on the page where you see it. The details are on our disclosure page.
