Bring a CCS car to Electrify America: 4 chargers at the Old Mission Drive Merkantile in Solvang and 4 at the Depot Mall in Los Alamos, both open 24 hours [1]. Electrify America shows its price in its app and on the charger screen, not in public listings [5]. EVgo has a single 100 kW charger with both CCS and CHAdeMO at El Rancho Marketplace, so it is also the valley's only CHAdeMO option [4]. In Lompoc, EVCS runs 2 CCS chargers at US Bank on North H Street.

Two public fast-charging sites on Bell Street, plus a hotel charger. Electrify America's 4 CCS chargers at the Depot Mall (515 Bell Street) take most non-Teslas; the 8-stall Tesla Supercharger at 645 Bell Street opened in March 2026 [9]. Charging on the drive from LA or Santa Barbara
Coming over Highway 154 from Santa Barbara, there is no public charger on the pass or at Lake Cachuma in the federal locator, so arrive with range to spare. The Santa Ynez Supercharger is the first on the valley side, on 154 itself. Heading home the same way, top up there or in Buellton first.
On Highway 101 through Gaviota, Buellton is the first Supercharger and the logical stop; Folded Hills, just south, has only one Level 2 plug. Non-Teslas heading north should plan on Electrify America in Solvang, on Old Mission Drive, or in Los Alamos, on Bell Street just off 101.
