Corque sits a block south of Mission Drive, so Old Mission Santa Inés, the tasting rooms on Copenhagen Drive and most of the bakeries are a 2- to 8-minute walk. Park once; the hotel lot is free.

Which Corque room to book
Pick by the view. Mission Rooms face Old Mission Santa Inés from a private balcony or patio (one King or two Queens). Wine Country Suites are poolside kings with a seating area and mountain views. Treetop rooms are top floor only, with balconies. The Chairman Suite is the big one: a separate bedroom, an entertaining room with a wet bar and wine fridge, and two bathrooms. Studio rooms overlook the village and are the plain, cheaper pick.
Craft House at Corque
Craft House is the hotel restaurant, next door at 420 Alisal Road in the old Root 246 space. Breakfast runs daily from 7 to 11am, weekend brunch and lunch fill the 11am to 3pm slot, and dinner starts at 3:30pm. Craft House no longer lists a happy hour. Is Hotel Corque pet friendly?
Check first, because the two official sources disagree. Corque's own site says "Unfortunately, we are not pet friendly. Service animals are welcome." Marriott's listing for the same hotel says pets are welcome, up to two per room and 80 lb, for a $150 non-refundable fee per stay. Call 805-688-8000 and get the answer for your dates.
